It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Betty Lou (Mauer) Janes, age 71 of Sarnia at Bluewater Health on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021. She was the dear wife of Robert “Bob” Janes and loving mother of Shawn Janes (Michelle) and Jamie, sister of Gordie Mauer (Linda) and Heather Cooper (Bill). Several nieces and nephews also survive. Betty retired from the Point Edward Casino after 16 years of service. She was a lover of animals of every kind, enjoyed colouring, loved crosswords and other games was an avid Nascar fan as well. Charitable donations made in Betty’s memory to the Sarnia Humane Society are appreciated. Private arrangements are entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N.
