Betty Jean Warner Wednesday August 18th 2021

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Lisaard House in Cambridge in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband, Floyd, their two sons, Richard and Ron, her parents, John and Pearl MacDonald, and her brother Bob. Survived by her brothers Jack, Bill (Eileen) and her sister June, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. She will be missed by her family and countless friends who loved Betty as family. She was very appreciative of the care and support shown to her by her close neighbours and will be dearly missed by “her girls”. A special thank you to nurses Pat and Joanne of ParaMed Services and the caring staff at Lisaard House.
Betty will be remembered for her kindness and grace and as a person who always made others feel special. Her ability to listen, guide and support those in need was demonstrated by her acts of love for others. Betty loved to host family and friends for dinners and barbecues, was passionate about her garden and enjoyed knitting for missions projects. She was a dedicated member at Calvary Church, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and volunteered with many care based ministries.
A celebration of life will take place at Calvary Church, 127 Hespeler Rd. Cambridge, on Friday, August 27, 2021 with visitation at 12pm followed by the memorial service at 1pm. Interment will take place at Wanner Cemetery immediately following the service. At Betty’s request cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Operation Smile or to Lisaard House would be appreciated.
