It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend. Bernie Martin passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Blanch (nee Emery); 5 children, Owen (Judy) Martin, Evan (Gail) Martin, Fern (Bryan) Hewitt, Laurel (Randy) Olchowy & Heather (Wayne) Himschoot; 8 grandchildren, Sandra Martin, Barrett Haddow, Genevera (Johnathan) Hunt, Tannele (Brent) Jacobson, Candace (Darrel) Thompson, Carson & Austin Himschoot, & Zachary Cooper; 9 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Danica, Mikayla, Tavian, Hayden, Parker, Aubree, Deacon & Avery; and 2 sisters, Laurine Hoffman & Laura Erickson. Bernie was predeceased by his granddaughter-in-law, Jenn Haddow; & brother, Glen. Bernie was a hard-working farmer in the Sugden area for many years, and moved to St. Paul in the late nineties. Bernie had many friends, and loved to joke, laugh, socialize & play cards. A Memorial of Bernie’s Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
