Beattie (Beatrice) Adelstein

Peacefully, on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in her ninety-second year. Devoted wife and best friend of the late Victor Adelstein for fifty-five years. Loving partner of the late Myer Steinmetz. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Gwen and Kent Goldie of Calgary, Judy-Gail and Stuart Nagus. Adored ‘Gramma’ of Amanda Nagus. Predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Amelia Kavanat-Elkin and Ben Kavanat. Dear sister-in-law of Bertha and the late Tully (Nathan) Kaufman. Beattie will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, Myer’s family, and many dear friends. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lawrence Panasci for his exceptional guidance for many years. Special thanks to Bernice for her love and devotion, and to the 3rd floor staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for their care. A private graveside funeral service to take place. Shiva strictly private.
