1960 – 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Diane Batisse on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 at the age of 60. Diane was born on May 10th, 1960 in Kirkland Lake to her parents Leta and George Batisse, both predeceased. She was living in Matheson, Ontario and was working at Detour Gold.
Diane is predeceased by her son, Courtney Batisse and her brothers; Gary, Kenneth, Wayne and George Jr. Batisse.
Diane will be missed by her daughters; Crystal Schram (Steve Lalonde) and Sherry Batisse, as well as her grandchildren; Kalina Lalonde and Colin Ricky Mousseau. She will also be missed by her sisters; Lorena MacKay, Marlene Collins (Ken), Debra Dunn (Bill Tolhurst), Connie Cutting (Mike), Christine Jerema, Terry Guraliuk (Dan), and her brothers; Norman Batisse (Debra) and Dennis Batisse. Diane also leaves her memory with her many friends, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A very special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Kirkland & District Hospital.
