Barry Bruce Gonder, of Walkerton, passed away at home, on Thursday, January 7, 2021 surrounded by his family, in his 69th year after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by the love of his life Joanne (nee Plante). Loving father of Kathy (Mike) Hehn of Riversdale, Barney Hurlbut (Sheryl) of Teeswater, Christa (Reg) Jantzen of Walkerton. Cherished Grampa of Jeff (Jamie), Jeremy (Mary), Pamela (Dave), John Curtis Hurlbut and Celeste and great Grampa of six. Dear brother of Darlene Gonder of Stratford.
Barry spent many years as a long haul truck driver until he retired. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his family. A kind, thoughtful, loving man, always willing to lend a hand, he will be missed by many other family and friends.
