On Thursday, September 30, 2021 Mrs. Barbara Granigan of Edgerton, Alberta passed away suddenly at her home at the age of 74 years.
She is survived by her two children, Erin (Matt) Koncur of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Sean (Kelly) Granigan of Edmonton, Alberta; four grandchildren, Talia & Evelyn Koncur, John & Caitlin Granigan; one sister, Sharon Rubeling of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Darrell (Carmen) Granigan of Irma, Merle Granigan… Read More » of Edmonton, Darlene (George) Roberts of Wainwright, Alberta, Maurice Granigan of Innisfail, Alberta, Doug Granigan of Edgerton, Dawn Granigan of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces and nephes. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton; brother-in-law, Jochen Rubeling; sister-in-law, Linda Granigan; nephew, Neil Granigan.
A Private family service for Barb will be conducted on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM from Creech’s Funeral Home, Wainwright. Interment will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery. A gathering for the community will be held at a later date. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wheelchair Sports Alberta Association, Mazankowski Heart Institute or the charity of the donors choice.
