Barbara Ann “Barb” MacDougall
1951-2021
MacDougall, Barbara Ann “Barb” – 70,
of Berwick, Kings County, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve

surrounded by her ever-doting husband, Stuart MacDougall;
her girls, Lisa, Jennifer, Amy, Sue, and two of her
granddaughters, Brianna and Isabella (absent was daughter, Sherry).
Barb, a loving wife and mom; died peacefully, surrounded by
family, and wrapped in love.
Barb was born in Berwick, NS. She was
predeceased by both parents and two older siblings, sister, Eileen
Doherty, and brother, Wayne Milbury. She is survived by six siblings,
Esther Doherty, Blackrock; Phyllis Loomer, Berwick; Steven Loomer and
Peter Loomer, both of Victoria Harbor; Roger Milbury, Burlington, ON
and Mary Perkins, Granville Ferry; and her girls, Sue Foster, Berwick;
Lisa Sabean (Mark Coldwell), Berwick; Sherry Cox (Sam Cox), Kentville;
Amy Wood (Travis Wood), McGee Lake; and Jennifer DeAdder (Stephen

She worked for 35 plus years at Evergreen Home
for Special Care in Kentville, NS. Despite being only four
feet eleven inches tall; Barb (never Barbara) was ten feet tall and
bulletproof. She loved big, if she loved you, you knew it, if she
didn’t, you knew it. Her greatest joy in life was, first and
foremost, her grandchildren. The second biggest joy was shopping for
those she loved. In her spare time when she was not loving her
grandbabies or shopping, she enjoyed retro and reality TV shows,
plants and purses.
Her absence has left a heart shaped hole in the
lives of all those who loved
her.
Due to Covid gathering limits, visitation is
for her girls and grandbabies only. The funeral will be held in the
White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, on Saturday, January 1, 2022,
