John Gordon Ball passed away in peace on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the age of 87.
John was the cherished husband of Lela Ball (Ferrel). Loving father of Ken (Sharon), Rob (Marcella), Heather (Brian), Arden (Tashi), and Ian (Geetha). Proud grandpa of 15 and great grandpa to 10. Brother to Eileen Stephenson and brother-in-law to Chester Bilski. John will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and dear family friends.
John was a valued member of New Sweden Church and his family appreciates the prayers and thoughts that comforted John on his journey home to Jesus. John will be remembered as a kind, gentle and generous man, who gave amazing hugs and always put “Family First”.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral will be limited to immediate family. The service will be live streamed on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., April 24 if you would like to participate. (youtu.be/jvRnP28mex0). There will be a viewing on Friday April 23, 7:00-9:00 pm at Serenity Funeral Home (4715-50 Ave, Wetaskiwin).
