Obituary of B. Lorraine Levesque
On Tuesday August 17, 2021, at the age of 78, Mrs B. Lorraine Levesque, surrounded by her family and rejoicing in the words of her most favoured song, peacefully passed joining her Father Lorne, Mother (and best friend) Mary and brother Brian in the company of our Lord. Devoted wife of 50 years to Jean-Paul “John” Levesque, loving mother to David (Dana), Brian (Sylvie), Doting Grandmother to Ainsleigh, Hayden, Kayley, and Paige. Cherished sister to Marilyn (Robert) and predeceased by her brother Brian. Lorraine will be deeply missed by her family back home in Winnipeg and in Ottawa, her entire extended family of nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues, a small hoard of “Kids” who she treated as her own, though tagging along for trouble and treates with her own kids. Lorraine will be especially missed by her best friends Cathy & David Levesque, Marion Beatie and Vivian & Mike Rathier. Lorraine accomplished much in her life and brought joy to everyone she met; one of which she was most proud of was her time with EHI Canada / Lockheed Martin working with some amazing people. Until her last days she continued to speak fondly of her friends and colleagues. Due to Covid protocols a private family service will be held.
