Avril Dannett 1943 2021

Obituary of Avril Dannett
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Avril Dannett on December 14th, 2021.
She was a loving Mother, devoted Grandmother, a loyal relative, and friend to many; and had a positive impact on those she came into contact with.
She was born in Georgetown, Guyana and grew up in Berbice and Essequibo. After a brief stint as a Student-Teacher, she became a Registered Nurse and thereafter dedicated her life to caring for others-both professionally and personally. Her professional career included Nursing at Public and Private hospitals, the first nurse at Kuru-Kuru Cooperative College, and finally ended her career with an extensive period at the National Insurance Scheme.
Avril is survived by her sons-Bevis, Rory and Sean, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters.
