LAROCHE, Audrey Ann – Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the North Renfrew Long Term Care Facility on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 in her 90th year. Audrey Ann Laroche (nee O’Meara) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Percy Alexander Laroche. How do you sum up a life? Loving mother of Joanne (Rick) Kimmerly, Wayde (Kathy) Storey, Lorena (Dan) Wickiam, and Dee-Dee Laroche (Wayne Lisk). Dear sister of Loretto (Frank) Wendorf. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Jay (the late Avril) O’Meara. Well that is a good start. Mom is gone. The world is less for it, but she is in a better place. Mom always had a smile and positive comment for everyone. Born in Alice Township, she traveled full circle, living in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, finally back to Pembroke. Retired from AECL. Respecting Audrey’s wishes, cremation has taken place. on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment of Ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID – FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE SERVICE. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Renfrew Long Term Care Centre would be appreciated. These donations will support staff engagement opportunities.
