Arven Norman Njaa passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Arven was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 28th, 1933. Arven lived almost all his life around Hagen, SK, except for a few years in Prince Albert and Saskatoon.
On August 12th, 1961, Arven married Marjorie Patterson in the Birch Hills Lutheran Church. They were blessed with three children.
Arven worked 10 years for PFRA, most of his time was spent at the Diefenbaker Dam. In 1965, he returned to Hagen where he farmed for the rest of his life.
Arven is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie (nee Patterson) Njaa; sons and daughters-in-law, Norman, Kelly, and Linda, and Jeff and Barb; grandchildren, Adam (Jenna Pumfrey) Njaa, Ryan Njaa, Brett and Krista Njaa, Connor Njaa (Madison Nelson), Kyle Njaa, Breanne Njaa(Kyle Kimbley), Carter Njaa; great grandchildren, Mazen, Trigg, and Noah; sisters, Arna Sollid, Norma Haugrud; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Arven was predeceased by his mother and father, Lena & Lars Njaa; his mother and father-in-law, Millie and Herb Patterson; his brothers, Rudolf and Kenneth Njaa.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021 at Saron Lutheran Church, Hagan, SK. Interment take place at Saron Cemetery, Hagan, SK.
