April 4, 1932 – October 23, 2021
Passed peacefully at the age of 89. Reunited with beloved husband Leonard (2019). Dear mom of Brian (Laurel), Patrick (Susan), Leonard Jr. (Janine), Michael (Deborah), Guy (Cindy) and Daniel (Vicki). Loving Meme of Tom, Mary, Scott, Carmelle, Brianne, Steven, Jasmine, Patrrick Jr., Christine, Katie, Andrea, Melissa, Ryan, Leigh-Ann, Mike Jr., Zachary, Robyn, Nick, Joshua, Ben, Jake, Jessie, Rachel, Cristina, and Joey. Great-meme to 63 wonderful great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Proud godmother to John Donnelly, Jarvis Chappus, Tim Caza and Lou-Ann Chittle. Survived by sister Noelle (late William) and predeceased by siblings Doris Mantha (Gaston), Helen Popescu (Alec), Emily Donnelly (Wilfred), Isabel “Babe” Chappus (Ferdinand), Margaret Chappus (Ferdinand), Bernadette “Bernie” (surviving Armand Beaugrand) and Leo Fredette (surviving Eleanor). Areseline was a life long member of the Catholic Women’s League. The family would like to thank Linda Britton and her staff from hospice on Empress St., Windsor. Also Dr. Sabga, Dr. Choa and the 4th floor staff at the MET Campus along with Dr. Tremblay, Dr. Soulliere and the 7th floor staff at the Ouellette Campus – all for their gentle compassionate care which was nothing short of amazing. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, October 29th from 2-5 & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anne’s Parish on Saturday, October 30th at 11 a.m. followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Maidstone. Reservations are required to attend Funeral Mass. Please call 519-253-7234 between 8:30 – 4 to book reservation.
