Anthony Gerard William O’Keefe
May 29, 1957 – September 11, 2021
With heavy hearts we would like to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father, Tony O’Keefe, on Saturday September 11, 2021 at his home in Pouch Cove, NL at the age of 64. Predeceased by his father William O’Keefe, his father-in-law Val Butler and sister in-law Jean (Butler) Comerford. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Joanne and their precious son Adam; his mother Patricia O’Keefe; his mother in-law Jessie Butler; his brothers Wayne (Carol), Damian (Tyra) and Joe (Brenda); his brother in-laws Brian (Roxanne) and Darren (Patricia); his sister in-laws Irene (Carl) and Deana (Paul); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and family who loved him dearly. Tony was a long time member of the Avalon Ford Team where he made friendships that were so very dear to him. Thank you to the staff of the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre for their care and compassion over this past year, with a special thank you to Medical Oncologist Dr. Dawn Armstrong. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you also to the staff of The Telegram/Saltwire Group for your friendship, love and support. May God Bless you all. Tony’s family wishes to also extend thanks to members of The Pouch Cove Volunteer Fire Department and to their neighbours on Cameron Place. Cremation has taken place with a Funeral Mass to be held at a later date (to be announced).
