Obituary of Ann MacKinnon
MacKinnon, Ann Elizabeth – passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the age of 82 years.
Ann MacKinnon (nee Huebner) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Bill MacKinnon. Loving mother of Rob (Leah) & Jamie (Erica) MacKinnon, both of Pembroke; and cherished grandmother of Joey & John; and Keanna & Nadia. Daughter of the late Lorne & Anne Huebner (nee Faught); dear sister of Joyce (Lloyd Schleen) & Beverly (Tom Quigley), both of Pembroke; and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ann was a long-time active volunteer in her community, and will be greatly missed.
Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Cancer Care Campaign would be appreciated.)
