Annie Ester Buck
Annie E. Buck, 96, of Lakeview
Manor, Riverview, and formerly of Amirault St., Dieppe, passed away
peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, January 13,
2021.
Born in Upper Pointe du Bute,
she was the daughter of the late Norman and Hazel (Doncaster)
Throop.
Annie was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a
member of the Salvation Army Moncton Citadel Community Church and was
a former Sunday School teacher, former Treasurer of the Salvation Army
Home League, past President of Lakeview Manor Auxiliary, life member
of the Women’s Institute, member of the Salvation Army Home
League and Sect. of Jr. Farmers.
Annie will be sadly missed by
her husband, Donald Buck; children, Wayne (Brenda), Sheila Palmer
(Anthony), Brian (Janice), Gary (Cindy) and Hazel Furlong (Ronald);
daughter-in-law, Evelyn (late Norman); grandchildren; great
grandchildren, great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces,
nephews and extended family members. Annie was the last surviving
member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she
was predeceased by her son Donald “Norman” Buck (2018) and
brothers, Arthur, Lester and Kenneth.
In respecting COVID-19
restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held from the
Salvation Army Community Citadel Church on Tuesday, January 19, 2021
at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
