It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annie Alma (Lodge) Duval on July 30, 2021 at Western Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
Annie was predeceased by her parents, James & Dorothy Reid, her first husband Jesse Lodge, brothers Edward and Clifford Reid.
Annie is survived by her husband Thomas Duval, her children Dorothy(Max), Gary(Glenda), Darlene(Wayne), Denise(Doug), Shawn (Rachelle), Karen(Chris), Grandchildren, Ryan, Robert, Tonya, Jonathan, Melanie, Kassandra, Danielle, Deanne, Dayna, Darren, LaNeika, Matthew, Jeremy, Keshia, and many great-grandchildren. Annie will be remembered by brothers Enos Whitfield (Daphne), Rexford (Minnie), as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Annie grew up in Horwood, moved to Deer Lake with her family, married Jesse Lodge and raised her family here. She was a Christian women, a member of the Deer Lake Salvation Army where she was involved with the Woman’s Ministries and Community Care ministries. Annie was a quiet, loving, kind hearted, caring gentle soul and had a love for everyone.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Tuesday August 3rd.,2021 from the hours 2-4pm for family and public visitation at 7-9 pm. at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel on Wednesday, August 4th ,2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Major Wayne Pike officiating, internment to follow at the Salvation Army cemetery on Wight’s Rd., Deer Lake.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main St., Deer Lake .Covid= 19 regulations and numbers will be followed for the visitation and funeral service.
