Grignon, Annette Grace [née Murphy] – It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Mrs. Annette Grignon, at the age of 85. Ms Grignon passed away at Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard on Saturday June 12, 2021 with her loving family by her side.
Born May 7, 1936 in Warren, Michigan, USA, Mrs Grignon was the daughter of the late Alfred Murphy and the late Germaine Seguin. She was very devoted to her community of Haileybury as well as Holy Cross Parish. We will remember the many qualities that Mrs Grignon demonstrated to us. She was very welcoming, persevering and a perfectionist in everything she did. Mrs Grignon was a passionate and devoted teacher to all those who were blessed to have her as a school teacher. She was a member of the World Wide Rosary, president for 25 years in the organization Light in the Dark [an association for the blind] and member of the year for 5 years in a row for the National Institute for the Blind. Her greatest accomplishment was that of a beloved and cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her presence will be deeply missed. She was an Angel among us.
Mrs Grignon is survived by her husband Roger Grignon, their sons Pierre Grignon (Jenny O’Neil), Richard Grignon and Alain Grignon (Natalie Aubé). She is the beloved grandmother of Blaise, Maxime, Marie-Pier, Anya and Marc-Alexandre.
She was predeceased by her parents and by her son Denis Grignon.
