HOUSTON, Anne Mary (August 11, 1941-November 8, 2021) – Anne passed peacefully at her home on Monday, November 8 with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her parents William and Ellen Houston and brother David. Leaving with loving memories, her sisters: Mary (Leo Ryan), Helen; brothers: John (Lillian), Bill (Maureen), Jim (Lori): thirteen nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and nephews, special cousin Gerard Tobin and aunts: Loretta Hickey and Catherine Hickey as well as numerous relatives and friends.
In her working career, Anne was a proud and dedicated nurse with St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
The family would like to thank Anne’s family doctor, Dr. Karen Lake, and the team at the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, HSC, for their excellent care of Anne.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay, from 12 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove on Friday, November 12 at 9:30am, with interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
