It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Van Dyk announce her passing on November 25, 2021 at Maplewood LTC surrounded by the love of her family and with her son and daughter in law by her side. Anna is now re-united with her loving husband Hans Van Dyk of 54 years who predeceased her. Loving mother to David (Charlene) Van Dyk. Cherished Grandme to Caitlyn, Johnson (Madi) and Zachary (Rachel). Great-Grandme to Carter, Caileigh, Alex and Kai. Pre-deceased by her sisters Edna Kingston, Arlene Bradley and brother in infancy. Survived by her sister Leta (Marvin) Turner of Truro Nova Scotia, brother Willard (Susan) Fenerty of Truro Nova Scotia and brother-in-law Robert Bradley of Truro Nova Scotia. She will be lovingly remembered by all of her cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Maplewood in Brighton where Anna lived for the past few years. They will miss her honesty, her spunk and her sass. They provided her with great care during her time there and her family is very grateful. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In keeping with Anna’s wishes the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of your choice.
