May 17, 1948 – July 31, 2021

Higgins, Ann Pauline, of Montague Gold Mines passed away peacefully on July 31, 2021 at the QEII Hospital, Halifax. Ann was born in St. Stephen, NB and was the only daughter of the late John and Norma (Johnston) Hayman.
Ann had a long Nursing career at the IWK Hospital and obtained her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from St. F.X. University. She spent most of her spare time gardening and knitting.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Sidney and their two sons, Erle (Yoshie) and Neil (Lucia) and grandchildren Liam and Lily. She loved them all so much.
Besides her immediate family, Ann is survived by her brothers, Gordon (Carol), John (Raylene), Thomas (Sharon) and Robert (Salvie); brother-in-law Steven (Shelly) and sister-in-law Vivian (Rob); as well as several nieces and nephews.
