CROWE, Anita Avalon –
Peacefully entered into rest on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton. Anita Crowe (nee Calvert) of Picton died at the age of 96. She was the daughter of the late William & Millicent Calvert (nee Ray) and wife of the late Raymond. Anita was the beloved mother of Dale (late Shirley) of Ottawa and Blaine (Evelyn) of Picton. Anita was the loving grandmother of Luke, Amy, John and Philip. She is predeceased by her sisters Fern Loney, Coza Ritz, and her brothers Caleb Calvert and Arthur Calvert. Anita will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Crowe is resting at the Whattam-Hicks Funeral Home, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450). A Private Family Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel with Pastor Peter Spragg officiating. Private Inurnment at Cherry Valley Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation, Emmanuel Baptist Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by Anita’s family.
