On December 22, 2021, Mrs. Amelia Bowen of Elk Point passed away at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Jim; 6 children, Joanne (Ray) Bodnar of St. Paul, Terry Tookey of Grande Prairie, Kendall (Michelle) Zarowny of Elk Point, Kim (Ron) Campbell of Sherwood Park, Roberta (Glen) Scott of Elk Point & Grant (Erna) Bowen of Red Deer; 11 grandchildren, Clayton, Shaun, Amber, Calley, Sarah, Brett, Ashley, Kennedi, Emily, Colton & Brendan; 10 great-grandchildren, Shayla, Kimber, Amelia, Kayly, Jasmine, Brittini, Liam, Mindy, Kaiden & Lennon; great-great-grandchild, Rose; 2 sisters-in-law, Tillie Eliuk & Mary Eliuk; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Bowen was predeceased by her first husband, John Zarowny; 2 brothers, Metro Eliuk & Bill Eliuk; 2 sisters, Nancy Eliuk & Rose Shesky. A Private Memorial Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elk Point.
