The death occurred at Stewart Memorial Home, Tyne Valley, on
Monday May 24th, 2021 of Allan Everett Matthews, of Arlington, age 82,
beloved husband of Fern (Barlow). Born in Arlington on August 3, 1938,
son of the late Hessell and Grace (Adams) Matthews.
Loving father to Donna (Norman Hall), Janet (Doug) MacLeod,
Colleen, Donald (Holly McHugh), Wendy and David (Kelley Coughlin).
Dear Grampy to David (Holly) MacLeod, Jenna MacLeod (Brian Strongman),
Sharalynn MacLeod (Steven Wedge), Morgan Matthews, Tyson, Summer,
Autumn, Richard and Winter Matthews.
Dear brother to Elroy, brother in law to Orelle, Ruth,
Kenneth, Donald, Orville, Wanda and Gerald Barlow, Winston(Lorraine)
Barlow, Warren (Shirley) Barlow, Ensor (Marie) Barlow, Helen (Nelson)
Cann, Blanche Gillis and Ruth Barlow.
Predeceased by his parents, sisters in law Betty Matthews and
Frances Barlow and brother in law Harry Barlow.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel. Due to Covid
19 restrictions, private family visitation and funeral will be held on
Thursday. Intement to follow in Lot 14 United Church
Cemetery, Birch Hill.

Church.
