Bartlett, Alice Marie
In loving memory, Alice Marie Bartlett passed away peacefully with family by her side November 1, 2021 at Meadow Park Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Ted” Bartlett (2008). Loving mother of John and Kim Bartlett, Brian and Lorna Bartlett, Tim and Michelle Bartlett, and Francis “Teddy” Bartlett. Loving Grandmother to Andrew, Kyle, Christopher, Jason (Luna), Katy (Erfun), Ben, Dustin (Paige), Alisha (Zakry), Colin, Darrion, Brandon and Amber. Great-grandchildren Alex, Ian, Rose, Zayden and Kiara.
Survived by her siblings Joe (Doreen) Belanger, Linda (Trueman) Hunter, Elaine (Guy) Lafond, Russell (Reneé) Belanger.
Predeceased by her parents Edgar Belanger (1991) and Josephine Belanger (1993) and brothers Jimmy Belanger (1949), Johnny Belanger (1952), and Larry Belanger (2000).
Special thank you to the wonderful staff at Meadow Park Nursing Home for taking good care of Alice during her time there. They supported Alice from the day she arrived, throughout the pandemic and said a special good bye with an honour guard.
Visitation will be held at 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, McKinlay Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 5 pm. – 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. A private family funeral service will take place with interment at Stewart cemetery, Merlin. Those wishing to attend must be pre-registered which can be done on the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home at 519-351-2040. Please note the Bereavement Authority of Ontario requires all those in attendance of a visitation or funeral must wear a mask.
