94 years, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at his home. Beloved husband of the late Ivana (Colasanti) for over 64 Survived by sister-in-law Trudy Colasanti. Special Uncle of Annamaria, Maurizio, Alberto, Francesca, Giuseppina in Italy and Sandra Peloza (Greg), David Colasanti (Felicity), Jamie Colasanti (Linda), Chris Colasanti (Carrie) and their families in Canada. He was “Uncle Aldo” and Godfather to many here and in Italy. Ivana and Aldo enjoyed surrounding themselves with their family members. They were always involved with the Italian community, operating an Italian grocery store and managing the Roma Club. Aldo, despite his many years in Canada always had a fondness for his homeland, including his daily passeggiata to Lakeside Bakery. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Friday 4-6 and 7-9 p.m. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Livestream available at www.reidfuneralhome.ca. Entombment Erie Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation is limited to a specific number of visitors. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Please book an appointment at www.reidfuneralhome.ca. All visitors must remain in their cars in our parking lot until their designated time and one of our staff members comes to invite you into the funeral home. Everyone must wear a mask.
