Albert’s Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of the late Albert Lawrence Koptie announce the passing of their beloved father, grandfather, and friend on May 18, 2021, at the St. Peter’s Hospital, Melville, SK, after a short but valiant fight with cancer.
Albert is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Doris (Stetski) Koptie; sister, Irene (Melvin); and grandson, Dakota.
He is survived by his children, Tracey Koptie and Kevin (Lisa) Koptie; grandchildren: Ashly (Clay), Jake, Chaylene (Shaun), Kevin, Tekena (Jesse), and Jared (Tianna); and great-grandchildren: Whyatt, Luke, Olivia, Lucas, Vanessa, Keyshia, and Laura; as well as numerous extended family members and many friends.
In Albert’s honor, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held on June 4, 2021, at the Canora Cemetery, Canora, SK, where he will be laid to rest alongside his mother, father, and sister. Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to a Charity of Donor’s Choice, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Albert Koptie.
