  1. Dear Lee, Jennifer, Azelyn, Kieran, Codie and your family,

You have been in our loving thoughts and prayers since we heard of this painful news.
Aidan has been in our hearts. What a wonderful son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend he was to many.

My fondest memories of your beautiful son are that of laughter and joy, back in George Friesen’s Grade 5/6 class, in 2013. Aidan’s spirit to make others laugh and feel good, are upper most in my mind🧸💙 As a former elementary teacher, it is easy to spot the children with a kind soul. That was your Aidan.

Anna and I have sat together and shared memories of R.H. Murray, we have looked at photo after photo and felt sadness, as well as laughter.

Aidan had a gift of tenderness, kindness and compassion for others.

There are no words to help ease your pain, Jennifer and Lee. You will keep strong together. God will help you each day to comfort one another and your family. Aidan will never leave your heart, your daily thoughts and your lives.

My family experienced a tragedy, different to Aidan’s death. But yet a tragedy that we never thought we’d recover from, Jennifer and Lee.
My eldest brother, Jay, an R. C.M.P. officer in Dryden, took his life. He was 46, happily married with 2 children in University. This happened in 1995.

I wasn’t a mother yet. I grieved for my parents, who lost their son. Now, being a mom to two daughters, I share your pain and hope to reach out to you, one day.

Aidan’s accident was just that. A terrible accident. So many painful things happen to us in this life.

We will continue, on a daily basis, to pray for strength for you both, as you walk through this most difficult journey.

God bless you, Jennifer and Lee,

    Most sincerely,

Marybeth, Billy, Emily and Anna Hickey💞

  2. Dear Lee, Jenn, Codie, Kieran and Azelyn,

Birgitta and I have been praying for you every day since we heard the news of Aidan’s accident. We have so many happy memories of Aidan and all of you from our years on Elden Ave. as your neighbors and friends.

Aidan was always the “life of the party” and there was always lots of fun and laughter when he was at Sonshine Club, Daily Vacation Bible Club or Youth Group. He loved his snowmobile in the winter and his bikes and quad in the summer. We thank God for the gift of his life and only wish it could have been much longer.

We are praying for daily comfort and strength from God for you all as you go through this difficult season in your lives. His memory will live on in all of our hearts. With much love and hugs!

Pastor Rob and Birgitta, Joel and Sonja
