Died peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 with her daughter by her side, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital in her 90th year.
Adele was born in Grossliebental, Ukraine and came to Canada with her family as a refugee following WWII. They settled in Eganville where she met her husband, and life mate, Garnet Alcis Griese who died in 2011. She is survived by their two daughters: Pamela (Paul) McNeil; and Karen (Doug) Wagner; A sister, Erna Haeberle; and brother-in-law JR Bestvater. She will be dearly missed by grandchildren Christopher (Angela) McNeil; Barry Wagner (Louise) and Jeff Wagner (Cierra) and 4 precious great grandchildren, Roderick, Carrick, Caeden and Moira and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville on Friday September 17, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 3pm at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville followed by interment.
