Obituary of Ada Clair Thacker
THACKER – Ada Clair
Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday June 11, 2021, at the age of 90 years. Loving wife of the late Earl Thacker (2018). Much loved mother of Gary (Dawn), Mark (Jodi) and Brian (Patti). Beloved grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Bronson Thacker (1997). Ada is survived by her sister Joann Dinsmore (the late James) (2018). She will be forever remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. For many years Ada enjoyed, curling, knitting, camping and spending time with family and friends at the cottage and many vacations in Sarasota, Florida. Ada was secretary of the U.C.W.L. for many years. Due to Covid-19 protocol a private family service will be held. Followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road N. Brantford. Donations may be made in memory of Ada to the Critical Care Unit of the BGH.
