Joan D. Ings
1935-2021
Joan Daisy Ings (nee Jenkins) passed away at the Notre Dame
Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at
the age of 85 years old.
She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd: infant son Lloyd;
parents Archibald and Ivy Jenkins; brothers: Clarence
(Clarie) Jenkins, Jack Jenkins and Harvey Jenkins; sisters: Betty
Jenkins and Pansy (Cecil) Mitchell; brothers-in-law: Austin Rogers and
Clarence Baggs.
Joan leaves with many loving memories; son Danny (Diane);
brothers: Ralph (Joyce) Jenkins, and Eddie (Frances) Jenkins; sisters:
Marjorie (Melvin) Horwood, Doreen Rogers, Bernetta Jenkins, and Thelma
Baggs; sister-in-law Evelyn Jenkins; home support workers: Juanita
Soper and Cindy Sansome; and furry friends: Max, Charlie, and Maggie;
as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and
friends.
In light of the current Covid-19 restrictions, the health and
safety of our families and our community continues to be of highest
priority. At this time there will be a private funeral service from
Central United Church, Twillingate on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00
PM.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in
Joan’s memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery
Fund, Durrell.
