Courtney – The death
occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Wednesday,
December 22, 2021, of Marlene Courtney, of Charlottetown, aged 70
years. Born in Dartmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late John
“Jack” and Alice (Gallant) Courtney. Survived by her sons
Noel and Nathan Sherwood; grandchildren Ethan, Anabel and Oliver
Sherwood; and by brothers Tom (Jane) Courtney, Ken Courtney and Pat
Courtney (Roma Generaux). Predeceased by her brother John Daniel
Courtney. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. A Graveside
Committal Service will be held at St. Paul’s Cemetery,
Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society would be appreciated.
