Obituary of Donald “Rusty” Hammill
Rusty passed away suddenly on November 17, 2021. Born on October 31, 1956, Donald Russell “Rusty” Hammill of Owen Sound, at the age of 65.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Sandra Hagen, on October 17, 2021. Loving dad of Jennifer Hammill (Christian Van Wyck) of Kilsyth, Joseph Hammill of Owen Sound, and the late Erich Hagen (late Amanda). Loved grandpa of Erich Hammill, Alexander Van Wyck-Hammill, Arianna Hammill, Ethan Hammill, and Jayce Hammill. Also missed by his siblings Mary Specht (Donald) of Williamsford, Dale Mitchell (Glen) of Williamsford, Tonia Routenburg (Joe Perreault) of Berkeley, Sandy Blandford of Oshawa, Jody Coture of Owen Sound, Jill Coture of Kitchener, his brother-in-law Steve Kirk, sisters-in-law Lori Teachman (David), Gayle Hagen, and by his best friend Allen Homier.
Predeceased by his parents Lorne Hammill and Gerry Coture, brother Mike Hammill, sister Tracy Kirk, and by his brother-in-law Bill Hagen.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 7 – 9 p.m. All attendees must wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols. Cremation will follow and there will be no service.
