Marie Wiebe Thiel Friday January 8th 2021

WIEBE, Marie (Thiel)
On January 8, 2021, Marie Wiebe (Thiel) passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband, Jacob Wiebe, and brothers Bob and Colin Thiel. Devoted Mother to Carole Banting (late Ron), Joyce Montgomery (Ted), and Dennis Wiebe (Carol). Loving grandmother to Matt Montgomery (Heather), Mary Montgomery (Andrew), Jake Montgomery (Lauren), Amie Banting (Paul), Adam Banting (Sarah), and Shane Clark. Adored great grandmother to Aaren, Abby, Ashton Montgomery, and Lillianna Banting. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Marie worked at the Fallsway Hotel for early life, then owned and operated the Cavalier Motel. Marie was happiest traveling to the cottage in Magnetawan where she would snowmobile. Marie cherished her time in the garden and was passionate about her crafts. Marie enjoyed spending time completing knitting and quilting projects. Our family wants to thank Marie’s friends and caregivers at Millennium Trail Manor for their exceptional care and thoughtfulness. Private family arrangements will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
