BRUSH Zachary “Zach” Paul – age 35, passed away unexpectedly on February 9,2020 at his home in Yarmouth. Born in Yarmouth on May 25,1984 he is a son to Darren Brush and Rhonda Cooke and stepson to Kevin Cooke. Zach loved his family and friends and was wholeheartedly loyal to them. He loved his nieces as if they were his own. Zach enjoyed music, art, and a good debate. He always had a way of making you see that his viewpoint was the right one whether it was politics or any other subject matter. He was very tech savvy and worked from home as a customer care specialist. He also loved to cook and worked in various restaurants in Halifax after high school. He could often be found roller blading until his accident 15 years ago which took some of the wind from his sails. Besides his parents and stepfather he is survived by his siblings, Eric(Blair) Brush, NFLD; Keith (Jane) Brush, NFLD; Caelyne (Chris) Hurlbert, Canaan, Yarmouth Co; Bailey Cooke (Luke Schrader), Rothesay NB; Shelby Cooke, Yarmouth; and lifelong friends Richard Doucette, Steve Moulaison, Andre Saulnier, David Gorman, Matt White and all of the rest of his friends that stood by his side. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of Zach’s life will be held Saturday February 15,2020 at 2 P.M from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A.J. Plazier officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
