WORDEN Beverley Jean nee Woodburn

WORDEN Beverley Jean nee Woodburn November 13

Beverley died peacefully on 13 November at the Veteran’s Hospital, Ste. Anne de Bellevue. Predeceased by her husband Robert and her sister Joyce. Sadly missed by her children Peter (Ann), Cathy (Brian) and Lindsay (Michael) , her adored grandchildren Christopher (Hannah), Katie and Ryan, Mackenzie and Caitlin, Cameron and Hilary and by her dear brother Robert (Margaret) and nieces and nephews. The family are very grateful for the care Beverley received at both the Ste. Anne’s Hospital and Sunrise Residence Beaconsfield.
Beverley, born and bred in Westmount, raised her family in Beaconsfield. She was a Montrealer to her core. Bev was a skier and a sailor. She loved the beach, a bright winter’s day, her cat, but most of all, her family. Bev was always ready to share a laugh, her opinion and an iced Gin and Tonic. She railed against the Alzheimer’s that robbed her of her independence and then everything. Her family has so much to be thankful to her for. Beverley was loved and will be so very missed. Due to Covid a gathering to celebrate her life will be arranged at a later date. Donations in Beverley’s honour can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (alzheimer.ca/en).
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Voluntas (514-695-7979, voluntas.ca).
