Willis Campbell
1947-2020
Willis Campbell was born on April 10, 1947 and passed away suddenly
February 28, 2020 at age 72. He was born the middle of 15 children, in
Coleraine, Northern Ireland and immigrated to Cambridge, ON in the
late 60s to make a new life. He had strong ties to the community while
coaching youth soccer for over 30 years, and being an active member of
Trinity Anglican Church.
He leaves his daughter Kailin (Allan) Campbell and son Derrick (Magda)
Campbell; grandfather of Joshua (Leah) Campbell and Jakub Campbell;
great-grandfather of Patricia Jade Campbell.
Predeceased and together again with spouse Jade (nee Seto) in 2013,
mother Lillian (nee McNeil), father Samuel Campbell and other friends
and family from Northern Ireland.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial
Visitation will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 12 Blair Rd.,
Cambridge, on Saturday March 7, 2020 from 10:00a.m., until the time of
the Memorial Service to be held at 12:00p.m. Refreshments will
follow. Willis will be brought back to Northern Ireland to his final
resting place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Willis’s name to the
Canadian Mental Health Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation
would be greatly appreciated.
