It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late William Henry Spicer announces his passing at his residence in Rose Blanche on Friday, July 24th, 2020 at the age of 76 years. Born in Rose Blanche, William was the son of the Henry and Cassie Spicer (nee Skinner). He was also predeceased by his son Perry Anderson, brothers; Ross Spicer, Roy Spicer, Reuben Spicer, Cliff Spicer, Wilfred Spice, Donald (Nina) Spicer, father and mother-in-law; Nelson and Bessie Anderson, brother-in-law; Leo Parsons and sister-in-law; Phoebe Anderson.
He leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories his loving partner Eva Anderson, daughter; April Anderson (Jamie King), granddaughter; Cassandra Anderson both of Burnt Islands, brothers; Barry (Elizabeth) Spicer, Roland (Leah) Spicer, Pierce Spicer all of Rose Blanche, Winston (Darlene) Spicer of Turo, NS, Scott (Darlene) Spicer of Glace Bay, NS, sisters; Maude (John) Dobbin of Rose Blanche, Minnie (Rodney) Francis of MacDougalls, sisters-in-law; Maxine Spicer, Pearl (Joseph) Rumbolt both of Rose Blanche, Mildred (Ivan) Spencer, Gloria Parsons, Elizabeth (Johnny) Snow all of Port aux Basques, Marie (Wilson) Bond of Burnt Islands and brother-in-law; Hubert (Selina) Anderson of Isle aux Morts plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 26th from 7-9 pm and on Monday, July 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. (Downtown Location). The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at 2 pm from East Haven Funeral Home Inc (Downtown Location) officiated by The Rev. Jeffrey Petten. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in William’s memory can be made to the family.
