Obituary
Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Saturday, May 23rd, William Freeland went to be with his Lord and Saviour. William Freeland, in his 88th year, from Warina Road, Maxville, Ontario. Cherished and beloved husband of Patricia Freeland (nee Grisewood) for 66 years. Revered and treasured father of Grace (Brian), Heather (Rudy), Laura, Janet (Chris), Jennifer (Wayne), Bill (Cindy), Jim (Angela), and Patricia (Steve). Proud grandpa of David (Carolyn), Peter (Chelsea), Gavin (Vicki), Aaron, Emily (Cameron), Jessica, Alex, Ben, William, John, Jenna, Fiona, Tyler and Adele. Delighted great-grandpa of Hannah, Caden, Sam & Henry. William is lovingly remembered by his sisters Janet (late Trevor), Peggy (Neville), Mary (Gordon) and Barbara. He was predeceased by his parents James and Jesse Freeland, and by his brother Gordon and his sister-in-law Ruth. He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends and neighbours.
A private service was held at the Tayside Cemetery, Sandringham Road, North Stormont, with Pastor Josh Taylor and Pastor Cory Campbell officiating.
