William Benedict Morrison, husband of the late Helen Agnes (Foley) Morrison of Morrison Lane, Miramichi NB, passed away Thursday May 21, 2020 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 88.
Born in Newcastle NB, he was the son of the late Ronald and Lillian (McCallam) Morrison. He was a retired clerk and Purchasing Agent for White’s Pharmacy, member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church also a member of Father Dixon Council 4886 Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Jane Wilkins (Dave) of Lower Newcastle and Constance Patricia Morrison of new Minas NS, two sons, Robert William Morrison (Maria) of Miramichi and Ian Andrew Morrison of New Minas NS, one brother, James (Bud) Morrison of Miramichi, brother-in-law, Linton Worrall (Etta) of Miramichi, sister-in-law, Frances Morrison of Miramichi, three grandchildren, Shelly Wilkins, Tim Morrison (Kayla) and Hannah Morrison, three great grandchildren, Sydney, Derek and Emily.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by great granddaughter Mary Anne, sisters, Agnes, Doris, Anna Carmel, Carmel and Genevieve, brothers, Warren, Louis, Raymond, Vincent, Charles, Joe and Dixon.
Due to the COVID-19 VIRUS there will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be in the family plot of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
