Whynot; Joseph James 2020

WHYNOT – Joseph James, 63, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Saturday, June 20, 2020 surrounded by his family.
Born in Liverpool, Jimmy was a son of the late Herbert Jr. and Emma (Fisher) Whynot.
Jimmy will be remembered for his big heart and his zest for life. He enjoyed walking, biking and took pride in his home; keeping the property looking beautiful. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was liked by so many. Anyone who knew Jim knew he had a knack for finding treasurers at Frenchy’s and Salvation Army. His door was always open to pull up a chair have a chat and share a laugh.
Jimmy is survived by the love of his life, Robin (Cross) Sperry; his sisters Joyce (James) of Brooklyn and Laurie (Wade) of Summerside, PEI. Nieces Jill of Truro and Candy of Summerside. Nephew Ashley of Halifax. His “nerd” Stephanie and buddy Jeffery and Tyson and many great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his sister Julie Ann, brother David and niece Brooke.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Jimmy’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
Jimmy’s family is thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses at Queens General Hospital who provided him with compassion and outstanding care. As Jim himself would say “Roll it up, let’s smoke it!”
