Obituary of Werner Oswald Riedel
On June 27, 2020, Werner Oswald Riedel passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. Born in Wörgl, Austria, on December 12, 1944, he was the son of the late Alois and Rosa (Duffner) Riedel.
Werner is survived by his children: Petra (Oswald) Temper of Korneuburg, Austria, Claudia (Gilberto) Lasangue of Kierstead Mountain, NB, Michael (Rachel) Riedel of Norton, NB, and Bettina (Günter Clementi) Riedel of Sud-Tyrol, Italy; grandchildren: Monika (Daniel) Ouellet, Lisa (Stefan Popp) Temper, Lukas (Sandra Wabitsch) Temper, Brendan Riedel, Rosa Riedel, Luise Lasangue, Benjamin, Dominik, and Samuel Clementi; partner: Shirley Wilcox of Sus, NB; her children: Krista (Peter) King and Kandi (Mark) Carhart, of Sus, NB as well as their children; the mothers of his children: Ulrike (Manfred) Mohler and Anneliese (Günter) Borin; one brother, and his family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister in childhood, Aloisia Riedel.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424. In keeping with Werner’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
