Obituary
Werner Schuetz passed away peacefully at Hospice Huntsville on Sunday December 20th in his 91st year. Werner is remembered by his sons, Martin and Carl, friends and family.
Werner arrived in Canada from Germany in 1954, working as a tool and die maker with Goodyear, helping make automotive tires for everyone. After retiring, he built a home in Owen Sound and later moved to Muskoka. He very much enjoyed life, oil painting, philosophy, strumming his guitar and singing, which, along with his quick wit, brought smiles and laughter to any room or occasion he was party to. In later years, and despite his failing memory, he always remembered those that loved and cared for him, as we remember him now and always.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on a warm, sunny day.
We ask that in memory of Werner, and his life, you consider and act, whether to donate to a charity, perform a simple act of kindness, or to do something else that gives life meaning. It would be a beautiful thing.
