FOUGERE, Wayne – Age 73 of Meteghan, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Kenneth and the late Theresa (Fougere) Fougere.
Wayne was an autobody repair man for most of his life and later worked at A.F. Theriault & Son Ltd. as a fiberglasser. He loved his old car, parties and a good time and loved being a jokester. He also thought the world of his grandson, Ty.
He is survived by his wife, Lucie, Meteghan; son, Sheldon (Tanya), Lower Sackville; sister, Nancy (Jimmy) Williamson, Calgary; grandson, Ty.
He is predeceased by a brother, John.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic provincial restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at a later date in Stella Maris Cemetery, Meteghan Centre. Donations may be made to Fidelis House Society.
