It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vivianne Golden (nee Chenier) on April 9, 2020. Viv will be missed deeply by her husband Robert Golden and daughters Eileen (Ollie) Gorman, Jennifer Nichol and Andrea Nichol (Brian Dzuirban). Beloved Grandmother to Andrew, Derek, Robyn and Tyler as well surviving brothers Roger (Lynne) Chenier, Bobby (Helene) Chenier and younger sister Liette Chenier. Predeceased by parents and sibling: Her father Romeo Chenier, mother Lucille Chenier and stepfather Ken Madill; as well as brother Gerald with surviving wife Sharon Chenier. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viv’s pass times included quilting, reading, sewing, baking and roasting the family’s favorites: roast pork and beef. Viv was always strong in bad times and believed in the miracles that God brings.
“And though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your soul.” 1 Peter – 1:8,9
At this time there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. At funeral time there will be a memorial service and reception at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
