Obituary of Vincent Douglas Heibein
It is with great sadness and shattered hearts that we regret to inform you that we have lost the love of our life, Vincent Douglas Heibein, age 56 of a massive heart attack. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Carl and Mabel Falk and Erwin and Lenora Heibein; many nephews, aunts and uncles. Vince will be missed so much by his parents Keith and Eileen Heibein; his loving partner Brenda; his sons, Jonathan (his family James and Brooklyn) and Matthew; stepdaughter Melissa; brothers Russell and Darren (Brenda) and many other relatives and friends. Vince was always a fun-loving kind of guy who never had a bad day and always a smile on his face. Everyone was his friend. He retired from Sears Service and Repair as a Service Technician for 35 years. After a short retirement, Vince began to work summers for ASL in Regina. We know Vince and Grandma Mabel will be enjoying a glass of wine over a game of cards. We now have two precious angels watching over us. We wish to thank the staff of the Canalta Hotel in Weyburn and the Supervisors and crew of ASL for taking Vince in like family… they are a wonderful bunch. Cremation will take place and burial will be in the spring at the Bethesda Lutheran Church Cemetery near Wilcox, SK.

You will be missed ‘Buddy’!
Tell you a little story about working with a friend like Vinnie. Once in awhile when we first started working together he would forget my name and call me ‘Buddy’.
I giggled everytime he said it, until one day he caught me actually smiling and my laugh. Vinnie asked what is so funny. I looked at him straight in the eyes and said ‘Friends are friends, Pals are Pals, but Buddies sleep together’ he was laughing so hard he was purple in the face! He never called me by my name again, he always made sure to call me ‘Buddy’ and in return giggle everytime he said it. He was a good shit! He will be missed by me and many others! RIP big guy!
