Vern Joseph Sale
September 11, 1942 – November 19, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vern Joseph Sale, husband, brother, father and uncle.
He passed away suddenly at home in Entwistle, Alberta.
Vern was born and grew up in Athabasca. He is survived by his companion Teresa Lee, sons Richard Sale, Robert Sale, Greg (Yanis) Sale, grandchildren, Jesse, Chantana and Haley, one brother Jim (Carrie) Sale, three sisters Joyce Wallin, Pearl Holland, Gloria (Jack) Cannon and many nieces and nephews.
Vern was predeceased by his parents Joseph Sale, Mary Sale, daughter in law Angela Sale, sisters Marlene Duma, Kathleen Sale, brother in laws Ron Wallin and Bob Holland.
Vern worked his career on the oilfield in Canada, Singapore and Australia. After living in Australia for 20 years Vern retired in Canada.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made in the memory of Vern to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
