Trevor Leslie 2020

Trevor William Leslie, of Hanover, passed away after a brief illness at Hanover and District Hospital on Thursday, June 11, 2020. He was 72.
Born on March 11, 1948 in Grangetown, Yorkshire, United Kingdom to the late William and Leah (nee Morgan) Leslie. Trevor was a former Teacher with the Hamilton-Wentworth Board of Education, until he relocated to the Bluewater District School Board.
Survived by wife Sharon (nee Scales) Campbell of Hanover. Father of Devon (Lisa) Leslie of Scotland, UK and Brynna Leslie (Nicolas Charest) of Ottawa. Remembered by Sharon’s daughters Lacey (T.J.) Hicks of Desboro and Katie Campbell of Hanover. He was “Grandad” to Carys and Kieran, “Grandpa” to Olivier, Zachary and Sophia, “Papa” to Rydell and “Trevor” to Morgan and Tucker. Missed by his sisters Linda (David) Fielding of Wyoming, ON, Kimberley (Joe) Coard of Hamilton, as well as his sister-in-law Rita Leslie of Hamilton. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brother Ian Leslie.
At his request, cremation has taken place and no funeral service or visitation will be held. Inurnment in Hanover Columbarium to be held at a later date.
A special thank you to Dr. Aboo and the oncology staff at Grey-Bruce Health Services for many years of exceptional care. Warm thanks to Dr. Abell, Dr. Heerema, Dr. Ambati and all the nursing staff at Hanover District Hospital for their expertise, kindness and care. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Walley of Durham for nearly three decades of care and friendship.
