Obituary of Tony Deodato
Peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre – KGH on Sunday, July 19th at the age of 84 with his loving daughter by his side. Tony leaves behind his beloved wife Shirley (Gollogly) of 64 years. Loving father of Tony (Lindy), Mike (Carolyn), Joe (Denise) and Kim. Tony will be dearly missed by his 15 grandchildren and his 6 great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters, Mary West, Rose Cripps, Lucy Smith, Anne Moyes, Ida Bishop (Ken), Jean Wells and Pat McKenna. Predeceased by his parents, Tony and Ida, and his two brothers, Sam and Vinnie. The family wishes to thank all the staff of KGH ICU Kidd 2 for the wonderful care. Family will be received on Friday July 24th from 2 to 6 p.m. for a Drive Up and Exit Visitation at the James Reid Celebration/Reception Centre at the rear of the funeral home (1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, ON K7M 7H3). No scheduling needed. Parking lot attendants to direct people. No gathering in parking lot would be allowed. Social Distancing rules apply. The funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Partners in Mission Foodbank (www.kingstonfoodbank.ca/) and Kingston Humane Society (kingstonhumanesociety.ca/) would be appreciated.
